Job scope

• Provide a consistent, proactive, and professional "play" experience for all guests
• Serve as the face of "play" that inspires creativity and storytelling for children and their parents
• Maintain an "always on" attitude to deliver the best guest service during work hours

Main responsibilities

• Perform Host duties at a high level
• Daily Operations duties and cash handling coverage as needed.
• Take responsibility for greeting all guests with a high level greeting as outlined in the Playmaker Orientation, creating a welcoming environment.
• Take on the role of leading "play" using appropriate scenarios for children
• Interact with parents and encourage family play by participating in what the children are creating.
• Wear the Playmaker apron as the daily uniform and utilize the Ducky Build, Playmaker Toolkit, and other LEGO materials.
• Create LEGO-based stories, leveraging fantasy and imagination to stimulate a sense of play and enhance the guest experience.
• Demonstrate passion for LEGO products and the ability to teach through "play."
• Approach customer service with enthusiasm, proactivity, and passion, including the ability to resolve difficult situations.
• Respond positively to change, understand the path forward, and see all aspects of the assigned area through the customer's eyes.
• Inspire children by playing with props or demonstrating the possibilities of materials.
• Appropriately respond to situations where guests need assistance and where they do not.
• Train new Hosts (employees) and serve as a positive role model for them.
• Perform other assigned duties and projects as needed.
